クリスマスソングをおうち英語に取り入れて、子どもと一緒に楽しみながら文ごと英語を覚えてしまいましょう！
英語が苦手でも、Youtubeを利用すれば、ボタン押すだけでOKです。
Jingle Bells
１）解説
歌のテンポも良く、我が子たちは、１番にこれ歌いたい！！とリクエスト貰いました。歌がストーリになっているため、SpotifyとYoutubeと一緒に利用することをお勧めします。
Bells on bob-tail ringとは、ソリを引いている馬の尻尾に、きれいに刈り込まれ飾りのリボンかリング（輪）がつけられ、そのリングに鈴が取り付けられているイメージです。

１）解説
原曲の歌詞では、それぞれに名前がつけられた９頭のトナカイが登場し、主人公の赤鼻のトナカイは「ルドルフ（Rudolph）」と呼ばれていいます。

１）解説
こちらも、テンポが良く、我が子たちがノリノリで歌っています。個人的には、こちらの曲はぜひ子どもに覚えさせて欲しいです。子どもたちの教訓がこの歌詞の内容だからです。悪い子には、サンタさん来ないよ～。だってサンタさんは、悪いことしたら、それを知ってるからよ～。といった感じです。ね、いい歌でしょ？（笑）
poutは、膨れっ面のことをいいます。She’s in a pout.

kinは、家族、血縁、親族、親類を意味します。
・blood kin（親族）
tidingsは、文学の分野で使われる言葉で、「便り，通知，音信」を意味します。
・tidings of great joy（大きな朗報、非常にうれしい知らせ）
・bad tidings（悪い知らせ）

（１）解説
「１２日(The Twelve Days) 」とは、クリスマスの日（１２月２５日）から１月６日の「Epiphany」までの１２日間を指しています。
「Epiphany（公現祭・顕現日／エピファニー）」とは、人としてこの世に現れたイエス・キリストが神性を人々の前で表したことを記念するキリスト教の祭日です。
それ以前からイエスの生誕を１２月２５日に祝っていた西方教会では、１月６日の公現祭とクリスマスの位置づけの整合性を保つため、１２月２５日から１月６日までの１２日間を降誕節としてイエスの誕生を祝うというようになったそうです。
